Precise Grout Alignment for Cadillac T-1 & T-2 tile
The Cadillac DID manual requires that the 12″ x 24″ showroom tile(s) are to be aligned on both the X and Y axis; which is an “on-grid” design. This design goal is for grout alignment when (2) of the 12” sides (of the T-1 and T-2) are installed on the 24” side these tiles. This means these tiles are to have precise production measurements which include the grout width dimension and exact tile sizing production to achieve this design goal. AutoStone will provide Cadillac project architects with an architectural specification guidebook (09-300) and tile subcontractor with an installation manual. Both these documents will underscore all the important design goals that are needed to successfully support a Cadillac project. AutoStone is invested and focused to deliver better Cadillac projects, satisfied Cadillac dealers, and help build brand compliant Cadillac facilities.
Delivering Essential Cadillac Standards
AutoStone supplied Cadillac showroom, bathroom, service drive and workshop tile options will be more competitively priced than the current (LEA) supplied tile. AutoStone production technology, as reflected in our service drive and workshop floor system will include our ultra-cleanable technology benefits and enhanced STF (slip, trip and fall) design features. The tile contractor purchase price (per square foot) will be less than the current Cadillac supplied tile. If AutoStone is added to the Cadillac program as a listed DID approved tile and part of the Cadillac Specification Document for tile in the showroom, customer restroom, service drive and workshop; AutoStone will not be undersold AutoStone will deliver Cadillac dealers competitive pricing, on-time delivery and excellent materials supply throughout this program phase.
Product Stocked in USA to Support Cadillac
AutoStone tiles will be produced exclusively for Cadillac. They will be customized to closely match the current Cadillac approved (LEA supplied) tiles. Once AutoStone materials are both approved and listed as a Cadillac material, which includes an AutoStone listing on the Cadillac DID manual, AutoStone will stock in our US based distribution facility all tile options: T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 and T6. After the initial start-up production run, AutoStone will commit to support Cadillac projects with a 3-week shipment of materials, from our US distribution facility. This differs from the current vendor (Virginia Tile) which offers a lead-time of 8-9 weeks. When AutoStone is an approved Cadillac provider, projects run on-time, run more smoothly and are completed timelier. AutoStone helps Cadillac build better and more cost-effective facilities.
AutoStone Tiles Save Cadillac Dealers Money
AutoStone supplied tiles will be produced specifically for the Cadillac program. AutoStone supplied Cadillac tile is a technical-grade, high-performance and high-quality product. AutoStone tiles are designed, engineered and manufactured to support the automotive retail and service environment in which they are to be installed. Because AutoStone only supports the automotive sector, our production of materials is only for brand programs that list and recommend AutoStone as an approved vendor. When AutoStone is a part of the Cadillac program, we will deliver our materials at competitive pricing and we will not be undersold! AutoStone projected prices for the primary T-1 and T-2 materials, from our DFW (Texas) distribution facility are: $ 4.29 psf. Currently the LEA T-1 and T-2 materials are: $ 4.60 psf + “a flat fee transportation surcharge on all invoices.” This is approximately another 9% on top of the current psf unit cost.
Better STF (slip, trip and Fall) Risk Management for Cadillace Environments
The driveseries! is recommended for use in both the service drive and workshop environment. This 8” x 8” format tile is designed to help dealers better manage the reality of automotive service. With contaminants being tracked-in to the dealership from the moment they open, until they close; managing the risk associated with both employees and customers walking on floors is an important management consideration. The driveseries unique three-line, elevated surface grid provides excellent foot traction to help reduce STF (slip, trip and fall) events in the service drive and workshop. Dealers (and brands) who use driveseries love the risk management benefits and the ultra-cleanable technology included in the surface design which aids dealers with regularly scheduled maintenance.
Brightfinish: a Permanent Sealant Enhancement with Ultra-Cleanable Technology
The driveseries include our proprietary brightfinish, ultra-cleanable technology. This technology enhances our impervious surface with a permanent sealant baked-in during the manufacturing process. The brightfinish seals the surface micropores which aids standard floor scrubber-sweeper with wet-vac cleaning practices. Brightfinish also resists rubber-transfer, surface stains and other surface damaging events. Brightfinish makes spot-cleaning easy to do, when spills or conditions present themselves. A brightfinish surface helps dealers keep their facilities in a “like-new” condition for the life of the dealership (with regularly scheduled and proper cleaning practices).

AutoStone service department tiles are manufactured with our brightfinish to resist rubber-transfer, and surface stains. Other tile manufacturers state that their tile will “naturally patina” over time, or have disclaimers that don’t reflect the reality of automotive service.
